As agencies continue to strengthen classroom quality and school readiness efforts, this update helps programs stay aligned with the latest CLASS framework while simplifying observation and scoring processes within GoEngage. |
What’s New:✔ Support for the updated CLASS® 2nd Edition framework This enhancement gives education teams a more streamlined and centralized way to document, monitor, and support quality classroom interactions across their program. 📍 To enable the new instruments: Navigate to System Settings → Classroom/Teacher Assessment Instrument and select the new CLASS® 2nd Edition options for your age groups. We’re excited to continue expanding tools that support high-quality teaching, coaching, and continuous improvement efforts for Head Start programs. You can now scope internal referral email notifications so staff only receive alerts for children they can access based on their organizational permissions. This helps reduce unnecessary notifications while improving confidentiality and workflow management. | |
Programs using kiosk attendance can now hide adults who are not marked as “Authorized to receive child” — helping improve safety and simplify pickup/drop-off screens for staff. | |
Want more reliable emergency communication? Agencies can now require mobile phone and provider information for emergency contacts within Required Fields & Sections settings. | |
Easily track meals for program and non-program staff with our new Adult Meals options in Data Navigator, our custom report tool! Find them under the “Class” category and tailor the report to your program’s needs. | |
