February is a month to check in, not overhaul — keeping systems aligned, documentation steady, and teams supported as the year moves forward.

3. New: Live Child Location in the Parent Portal

Parents can now see their child’s live location directly within the Parent Portal Child Profile.

1. 2026 HHS Poverty Guidelines

The 2026 HHS Poverty Guidelines are now live in GoEngage — and there’s nothing you need to do.

Head Start programs are required to maintain safe environments and use data to continuously improve safety practices.

Create a calendar for fire and emergency drills so leadership knows when drills are scheduled, then review drill results to identify patterns, supervision gaps, and areas for improvement.
