What's brewing in June?

Close strong. Start stronger.

June marks both the finish line and the starting line. As you finalize this year’s work and start planning for what’s next, GoEngage is here to help streamline your data, reduce manual tasks, and give your team a clear head start for the year ahead.

June Tips

Tip 1: Wrap Up Your Program Year with Ease

Get a head start on the new year using GoEngage’s Year-End Activity feature! You can:

✔ Create your new program year

✔ Pull over centers, classrooms, and caseloads

✔ Transition or return children

✔ Close out anything that’s no longer needed

Follow the guide in Help > Help Center > search “year-end”, and let GoEngage make year-end transitions smoother than ever.

Tip 2: Tame the PIR Chaos

Feeling the PIR crunch? You’re not alone. GoEngage’s My PIR feature helps distribute the workload so it doesn’t fall on just one person.

✔ Assign sections to the right team members

✔ Track progress in real time

✔ Ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Even if it feels a bit late to fully adopt this approach for this year, it’s never too early to plan ahead. Start exploring My PIR now so you’re fully set up for a smoother process next year. And if you’re ready to jump in, you can still start using it this year to ease some of the pressure.

Visit Help Center > “Tutorial: Agency PIR and My PIR” to learn how to turn PIR reporting into a team effort—not a solo scramble.

See how BakerRipley uses My PIR to simplify their PIR process and share the workload across their team.

Tip 3: Summer PD Prep: Stay Ahead on Required Training Hours

Summer is the perfect time to get a jump on professional development and ensure your team is ready for the year ahead. Staying on top of staff training is not just best practice—it supports compliance with §1302.92, which requires a systematic approach to staff training and development, including tracking annual training hours and certifications.

Helpful Tip:

Make it easy on your team by using GoEngage’s electronic sign in/out station at staff training events. Once staff sign in electronically, GoEngage automatically tracks PD hours, updates certifications, and stores certificates—no manual entry required. You can save at least 30 minutes of paperwork per training, while ensuring accurate records for compliance. Use filters to quickly see who still has outstanding hours or expiring certifications, and easily send reminders to keep everyone on track.

This simple step helps ensure your team meets all training requirements and is prepared to deliver high-quality services all year long.

Tip 4: Make the Most of a Slower Summer

Use the summer lull to streamline your operations and reduce paperwork. GoEngage helps you:

✔ Digitize manual forms and processes

✔ Eliminate paper-based tracking

✔ Identify and improve inefficient workflows

✔ Save staff time before the busy season returns

Now’s the perfect time to go paperless and prep for a smoother fall.

We are rolling out several exciting enhancements designed to streamline your workflows, boost family engagement, and improve compliance. Here are a few highlights:

🖊️ Parent Signature on Family Engagement Outcomes

You can now collect a parental signature at each checkpoint within the Family Engagement outcome—bringing more transparency and accountability to the engagement process.

✔ Verification of parental acknowledgment

✔ Improved compliance documentation

🖊️ Digital Signature Requests for Plans

✔ Save staff time

🖊️ ILP Enhancements: Signature Fields Added

The Individual Learning Plan (ILP) now includes fields for both Parent and Staff Signatures, helping you maintain a complete and verifiable record for each child.

🖊️ Signature Requests for Emergency Contacts

Request electronic signatures for Emergency Contact details directly within GoEngage. The signature status is now visible in the contact record, simplifying compliance and tracking.

🗣️ Language-Specific Attendance Policy Signatures

If a family's primary language is Spanish, and your Attendance Policy is uploaded in Spanish, GoEngage will automatically send the Spanish version for signature—ensuring clarity, accessibility, and compliance.

📊 New Report: Vital Signs

This new Vital Signs report provides a monthly snapshot of key metrics:

• Enrollment & eligibility percentages

• Attendance percentages

• Total monthly meal counts

🧾 System Communication Template Report

A new report under System Reports gives a complete view of all communication templates, their content, and where they’re used—perfect for auditing, reviewing, and maintaining consistency across communications.

And that’s just a few of the powerful new features we’ve added! Be sure to check out the full list in GoEngage.
