Founded in 1997, Cleverex Systems is a software company that serves nonprofit organizations. As of 2020, we are focusing on our flagship product, GoEngage, an all-in-one software for Head Start and CAP agencies to manage all aspects of their programming. From child nutrition to parent education, staff coaching to father engagement.

Head Start is a federally funded program that comprehensively promotes child and family development for low-income families.
Community Action Program (CAP) aims to empower low-income communities, and is governed by a board consisting of 1/3 low-income community members, 1/3 public officials, and 1/3 private sector leaders.

What you'll do

Design and build webpages in Framer (Figma-adjacent), including:
- Marketing landing pages for campaigns, webinars, and events
- Iterations/variants based on feedback and performance
- Light layout/content adjustments as needed (no coding required)
Create graphics and templates for:
- Social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Email headers and simple layouts
- Blog header images and supporting visuals
- In-app announcements and pop-up banners
Develop and maintain a simple, consistent visual system:
- Reusable components, styles, and patterns in Framer and/or Figma
- Consistent typography, color, and elements assets
Support campaigns and events with:
- Slide graphics, workshop visuals, and promo images
- Conference/virtual event materials and one-pagers
Collaborate asynchronously via tools like Notion, Slack, and Google Drive and provide estimates/timelines for design work.

This is a hands-on production + concept role: you’ll be both ideating and doing the actual build/design work.

Who you are

Cleverex Systems is looking for a Graphic & Web Designer (Framer Specialist) to support GoEngage on a freelance (1099) basis.

You’re a hands-on designer who is just as comfortable building high-converting landing pages (Framer experience preferred) as you are creating scroll-stopping social graphics, webinar visuals, and clean, on-brand collateral. You care about clarity, usability, and consistency just as much as aesthetics.

You’re collaborative, responsive, and able to take a loose idea or brief and turn it into something polished with minimal hand-holding. You’re excited to help a growing SaaS product in the Head Start/Community Action space show up online with a professional, cohesive visual identity.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and mindset:

Must-Haves

A strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Marketing websites or landing pages
- Social and digital marketing graphics
- Clear, modern, conversion-minded design
Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
Solid grasp of core design principles (layout, hierarchy, color, typography)
Experience designing for digital marketing (social, email, landing pages)
Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and hit deadlines
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote, async environment

Nice-to-Haves

Framer (Figma-adjacent) experience
Experience with SaaS, B2B, or mission-driven/nonprofit sectors
Basic understanding of UX best practices and A/B testing for landing pages
Motion/animation skills (e.g., simple micro-interactions in Framer or short social clips)
Illustration or iconography skills
Experience collaborating with marketing on funnels/campaigns
